How should I use it?

Chicatella is quite thick in consistency, that’s why we advise you to first warm it in between palms.

Because it functions “oclusively”, it’s good practise to apply it on a freshly showered skin so that it keeps the moisture within.

But what really works for most people is that they apply it in a thick layer and let it sit there for hours until fully absorbed.

If you do that from time to time, your skin will be soft as silk.

How long does it last?

It’s dense which means most people will use it in a month, because you only need a tiny bit to get the full result.

How often should I use it?

You can apply it as many times as you like, but we highly recommend common sense, because we actually had a couple of cases when people were almost bathing themselves in it.

If you’ll be using it for the hands, we suggest putting it on and covering your hands with cotton gloves, leaving it function overnight.

For quick result you can also use “surgical” rubber gloves instead, but those should be kept on hands for maximum an hour.

Is it suitable for babies and kids?

It definitely is, but we’ll soon be launching Babytella which will be more suitable for the little ones.

Is it o.k. if it "tingles" when I put on?

We get asked such a question mostly from people who put Chicatella on a fresh wound.

That’s o.k. in some cases, but we still advise that such skin gets healed first.

Some people have very intense eczema, therefore the cream sort of itches or stings when applied on the skin.

That’s all good, but if the uncomfortable feeling lasts more than 15 minutes and the skin gets more red by the minute, then you most probably have an allergic reaction.

We only get a few of those per year, so it’s not very likely you’ll get one, but if so happens, rinse it off and contact us for a refund.

What parts of the body can I use it for?

You can use it pretty much on anything you want.

Most clients use it for their scalp, ears, nose, even the inside of the nose, eyelids, face, knees, arms, hands, you name it …
